It boosts
There are a myriad of boosts available with an item upgrader. They can include a range of stats, in addition to numerous bonuses. These bonuses can be utilized on weapons, armor and trinkets. They can be used to improve the abilities of the character, or can add an additional element of variety to a build.
The upgrade system in World of Warcraft allows players to increase the level of their equipment by spending currency at an item upgrader NPC. This system was first introduced in Mists of Pandaria, and was further developed in Warlords of Draenor. It's a simple method to raise the level of your equipment, which lets you to avoid the tedious grind and avoid a lot of wipes in Mythicand Dungeons.
When an item is upgraded its base type changes. The upgrade of a normal item will result in an item that is Exceptional while upgrading an Exceptional item will result in an elite version of the same base item. The item will be able to keep its previous upgrade stats, but will gain an extra bonus of its new base type. This bonus is randomly selected. It could be a weapon that has more damage range, an improved reloading speed, or an increased max defense roll.
The number of upgrades you perform will determine the amount of extras you will receive. Each upgrade will increase the number of extras by three points maximum. Each upgrade will also boost the stats of the main game by +1.
In addition to the stat increase Certain upgrades can give a random secondary boost. These boosts can be valuable and should be considered when deciding on which items to upgrade. Some of these boosts can only be used in specific builds (such a Whistan's Shield for FB Sorcs) Some are valuable to collectors.

Certain items come with inherent boo that is less effective when upgraded, like the Goldwrap that gives you extra potion slots. They are usually upgraded to increase the value of an item that is perfect or close to being perfect.
Costs
There are some costs that are associated with upgrades to items. The first is the upgrade itself. The cost is based on the item's new ilvl and the amount of perks it receives and can be costly. It can also be expensive to upgrade an item to a better tier (such as Explorer > Champion or Veteran > Heroic).
The second is the cost of the materials required to upgrade. The items used are usually either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21+) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing certain Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). These materials can be found in the inventory of an Upgrade Vendor.
Upgrades to an item are complicated and requires time. It can take up to 8 hours depending on the size of the upgrade. The base stats of the upgraded item are calculated based on the new ilvl and other properties. This calculation determines the new Armor Class bonuses, damage dice, as well as other important stats. In some cases, the upgrade will grant additional advantages that can be picked from a variety of advantages.
Rarely, the perks gained will cost more than one perk slot; in these situations, the upgrade will only replace the highest-cost perks. The upgrader can also make other modifications to the item, for example, changing its weapon damage type or removing an operative or unwieldy function. These modifications are based on an item's ilvl and may require special materials, for instance the adamantine.
Success Rate
The process of upgrading an item is dependent on chance. Like any random system there is a chance that it won't succeed. However, there are a few factors that can increase the chances of success. This includes the use of an Upgrade Pity, or the addition of additional materials to your upgrade.
The Upgrade Pity can be bought from the NPC for crafting in Lost Ark. It increases the chance of a successful upgrade by a percentage. This is similar to the luck bonus certain items offer however it is more solid. It can be added to any armor or weapon and can be used up to three times.
You can also add additional materials to the upgrade to increase the chances of success. These are shown in a window above the + button. There are a few limitations. The maximum amount of material you can upload is shown directly above the + button.
A Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version thereof, can be used to increase the likelihood of an upgrade succeeding. It will let you upgrade that piece of equipment to the next level without worrying about it breaking.
If an upgrade is unsuccessful, it will be reverted to its original state. This is typically a break, but it can also be a downgrade. It is recommended to save upgrades for when you are close to the highest level of an item, and use it as an emergency.
There are many items in the Kafra shop that can be used to increase the chances of a successful upgrade. For instance upgrading an item of equipment using HD Oridecon or HD Elunium repeatedly will give you an increased chance of success. item upgrading of success will be increased if you increase the chance of getting a Double Mint by Shoe-Minting five times.

The upgrader of an item allows the player to add a second slot on their equipment. These slots can be used to upgrade an item or apply an enhancement. It is important to remember that not all items can be upgraded. The rank of an item determines the rate at which it can be upgraded and transformed. The higher the rank of the item, the more Zeny and items are required to upgrade it.
This system can be quite expensive, especially for high-level gear. Upgrades to weapons and armor can cost as much as 100,000 Z or 100 Carnium. As you advance in rank, the chance of success decreases. However, you can use cash shop items to increase the chances of upgrading your item successfully.
Normal Upgrade is a fundamental upgrade that is only used on armor, weapons and bikes. It uses different grades of core, dependent on the kind of item. Most commonly, lower grade items will require low grade cores while items with higher quality will require higher priced ones.
You must have the proper number of cores to do a normal upgrade. Click the button next to the item you want to upgrade once you have the cores. The upgrade window will display a percentage indicator of your chances of success. The percentage is based on the level of upgrade and the core kind of product you have selected.
You can also select a safeguard that will protect your item in the event of failure. The cost of this protection will differ, but it will always be less than the cost of a new item. The protection can only be used only once per upgrade and will last until it is used again.
The interface for the item upgrader can be a little confusing, but not difficult to navigate. The main menu is displayed on the left and the upgrade window on the right. The arrows to the left side of the UI depict the various stages of the upgrade process. Click the question mark icon to get help if you are unsure what you're doing. The process of upgrading can take up to five minutes.
